Taylor Swift has a brand new album on repeat, and it's not even one of hers. She's been raving about Phoebe Bridgers' new record 'Lost Weekend', telling anyone who'll listen that she simply cannot stop playing it. Taylor went even further, calling the album 'an absolute triumph in every way', which is about as good as praise gets from pop's biggest superstar. Phoebe is known for her moody, beautiful songwriting, and a shout-out like this from Taylor is bound to send new listeners flooding to the record. KATSEYE Surprise Disney Fans As Golden Muses

KATSEYE just gave Disney fans the surprise of their lives. The group turned up at D23, Disney's huge fan celebration, dressed head to toe as the Muses from Hercules, complete with gladiator-inspired gold sandals and full ancient-Greek glam. Nobody was expecting the girls to appear, which made the reveal even more electric for the crowd packed into the hall. KATSEYE went full method for the moment, throwing themselves completely into the Muses characters for the surprise performance. It's the latest sign of just how many worlds KATSEYE can cross over into, from pop charts to Disney magic. If this is a hint at something bigger coming from Hercules, KATSEYE fans and Disney fans alike will want to stay tuned.

Today's Lesson: The Bridge

real Poppie words

Warm-up

  1. Lie on the floor and bend your knees up, feet still on the floor.
  2. Hands by your sides, then lift your hips up as high as you can. In a bridge you've got to push your hips all the way up.

The bridge

  1. Place your hands by your ears, fingers kind of turned back.
  2. Push up as high as you can… then come down gently.
  3. Once you're fully up, try rocking forward and back in your bridge, slowly.

Going all the way back

  1. Go near a wall, but don't stand against it: stand a little away from it.
  2. Put your hands on the wall and arch back, walking down until you reach the floor.
  3. Once that's easy: stand up straight, arms behind your ears, legs spread out a little.
  4. Keep going back. You have 8 beats: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7… place your hands down gently (you can rock a bit)… and up for 8!

Coach's tip: always practise on something soft, and warm up first! πŸ’œ

Recipe 4: Homemade Pizza

real Poppie words

Before you start

  1. Wash your hands.
  2. Get everything out: a pizza base (I like making my own thin crispy one, but a shop-bought base is perfect too), a small tin of passata or tomato sauce, a ball of mozzarella or a bag of grated cheese, and whatever toppings you fancy.

The sauce

  1. Turn the oven on to hot, about 220Β°C, so it's ready when you are.
  2. Spoon a few spoons of tomato sauce onto the base and spread it round with the back of the spoon, leaving a little gap round the edge for the crust. Don't drown it: a thin layer is best.

Build it

  1. Tear or sprinkle the cheese all over.
  2. Add your toppings, and here's the chef's rule: don't pile on too much or the middle goes soggy. A few good things beat a mountain of everything.

Bake it

  1. Carefully onto a tray and into the hot oven. A grown-up helps with the oven.
  2. About 10 to 12 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the edges are golden. A thin homemade base cooks faster, so check it a couple of minutes early.
  3. Let it cool for a minute (the cheese is like lava straight out), then slice it up with a pizza cutter or clean scissors.

Chef's tip: less is more with toppings. A soggy middle comes from too much sauce and too much stuff piled on. Go easy and the base stays lovely and crisp. πŸ•

A hungry bear in Kentucky let itself into someone's house and headed straight for the leftovers, tucking into a box of KFC like it owned the place. The whole cheeky raid was caught on camera, chicken bucket and all. Turns out even wild bears can't resist fried chicken.
