Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift both make cameo appearances inside its pages, popping up as characters alongside Sabrina's own story. It is a lovely surprise for anyone who loves both pop music and a good bedtime read, proving Sabrina's imagination stretches well beyond the stage. Having two of the biggest names in music tucked into your book is not something every artist can pull off, but Sabrina clearly has the sort of friendships that make it possible. It shows just how close these three stars really are behind the scenes. Keep an eye out for copies landing on shelves soon.

Taylor Swift Inducted Into Songwriters Hall Of Fame

Taylor Swift has just picked up one of the biggest honours a songwriter can get: she has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. It is the sort of award that celebrates an entire career of hits rather than just one song, so it is a proper big deal. Making the night even more special, rising star Sombr took the stage to perform in her honour at the induction ceremony. Sombr has now opened up about what that moment actually felt like, calling it a real highlight of their career so far. For Taylor, it is another trophy for an already packed cabinet. Fans will be keeping an eye out for who else shows up to celebrate her next big moment.

Sienna Spiro Fronts Sweet New Rescue Dog Campaign

Sienna Spiro has teamed up with PETA UK for a brilliant new campaign encouraging people to adopt rescue dogs instead of buying from breeders. The campaign is all about giving rescue dogs "their encore", a lovely nod to Sienna's own music career, as if every rescued dog gets a second chance to shine just like a singer taking one more bow. Sienna has been vocal about how strongly she feels about it too, saying she would "die on this hill" for the adopt, don't shop message. It is exactly the sort of cause that suits her, since she clearly loves animals as much as she loves music. The campaign is already getting people talking about giving older or overlooked dogs a proper loving home. Expect to see more from Sienna and her four-legged fans very soon.

Today's Lesson: The Cartwheel

Warm up first

  1. Warm up properly — wrists, shoulders and legs — and never do a cartwheel cold.
  2. Find a big open space on something soft, grass or a mat, with nothing to bump into.

Get the shape

  1. Stand up tall, arms up by your ears, and pick your strong leg to go first. Step it in front into a lunge.
  2. Imagine a straight line on the floor. A good cartwheel goes hand, hand, foot, foot — all along that one line.

The cartwheel

  1. Reach down the line, put your first hand down, then your second hand, and kick your legs up and over sideways — like a wheel turning.
  2. Keep your arms and legs nice and straight, and point your toes the whole way over.
  3. Land foot, then foot, and come up tall with your arms back by your ears — finish like a gymnast showing the judges.

Make it better

  1. Practise over and over on the same line. The straighter your line, the better it looks.
  2. When it feels easy, try to slow down at the very top so you're almost in a handstand in the middle. That's the secret to a really strong cartwheel.

Coach's tip: hand, hand, foot, foot — say it out loud while you do it and your body follows the words. And always on something soft! 💜

Recipe 4: Homemade Pizza

Before you start

  1. Wash your hands.
  2. Get everything out: a pizza base — I like making my own thin crispy one, but a shop-bought base is perfect too — a small tin of passata or tomato sauce, a ball of mozzarella or a bag of grated cheese, and whatever toppings you fancy.

The sauce

  1. Turn the oven on to hot, about 220°C, so it's ready when you are.
  2. Spoon a few spoons of tomato sauce onto the base and spread it round with the back of the spoon, leaving a little gap round the edge for the crust. Don't drown it — a thin layer is best.

Build it

  1. Tear or sprinkle the cheese all over.
  2. Add your toppings, and here's the chef's rule: don't pile on too much or the middle goes soggy. A few good things beat a mountain of everything.

Bake it

  1. Carefully onto a tray and into the hot oven — a grown-up helps with the oven.
  2. About 10 to 12 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the edges are golden. A thin homemade base cooks faster, so check it a couple of minutes early.
  3. Let it cool for a minute (the cheese is like lava straight out), then slice it up with a pizza cutter or clean scissors.

Chef's tip: less is more with toppings. A soggy middle comes from too much sauce and too much stuff piled on — go easy and the base stays lovely and crisp. 🍕

Raccoon Named Mayonesia Rescued From Mayo Jar

A cheeky raccoon in Dallas somehow got its head stuck in a jar of mayonnaise, and rescuers had to save the sticky escape artist. Naturally, they named her Mayonesia. She has now been safely freed and is back to her raccoon business, condiment-free.
